Just a heads up for people who service their s2000 in Lookers Nottingham.
Last week, I called to check whether they stock the s2000 oil filter, and specifically asked for the part number 15400-pcx-004. Over the phone, they told me that it's always in stock.
On saturday, I decided to head down to get the oil filter just in case i wanted to do my oil change over the weekend. Spoke to the parts person, and I asked for the s2000 oil filter. He printed out the receipt and passed it to me. First thing i notice was, the part number was 15400-RBA-(can't remember the last part). I told him to get me the filter to double check.
As expected, it is a small filter. I insisted that it is the wrong filter for s2000 and it should be bigger filter. In return, he just replied saying, that is the filter they have been using on all s2000 that was serviced there.
So, double check your filter if you've serviced there recently.

Same goes for ANY Honda dealer.
Over 3 years, I've had dealers come up with all sorts of dangleberries.
"This years S has got a Limited Slip Diff" etc etc
If you go in expecting that everyone has the knowledge of an incontinent goldfish. And that they really couldn't give a rats arse about your pride and joy... you won't be disappointed.
The internet can at least help you prime your knowledge to protect you.

You haven't.
I have. Have another read of my engine thread.
Even Clarissa was astonished.
Deja vu matey
Let's throw in my 07 car for discussion.
3 roofs in under 18 months of ownership.
All the roofs were replaced by Bushey
The supervisor argued that roof number 2 I attempted my own repair - and my warranty was void. He was quite forceful.
I was equally as forceful - and Jorge who was caught in the middle had the sad role of informing his supervisor was wrong -and it was a manufacturing defect.
You may have had more enlightened moments.

Never had any problem with my dealer - Lloyds of Carlisle, though the car hasn't been serviced there for about 3 years .
Have always got a spare filter off them at each service and it's always the proper (larger) one
