Default "Loudest" Induction Kit

Hi guys,
I'm looking to get an S2000 shortly. After owning my Civic Type-R for a couple of years I know the most fun/impressive modification to that engine was fitting an open cone air filter.
To be specific, with the standard CTR airbox the VTEC changeover at 5800rpm was completely unnoticable (audibly) and very much smoothed out. With the replacement airfilter, the tone/pitch of the noise completely altered at 5800rpm and that audible changeover was just fantastic

So, my question really is, not "which S2000 induction kit is loudest?" (though loud is good) but more "Which S2000 induction kit accentuates the VTEC changeover sound?"

I really hope I'm understand!
Thanks

The PRM was quite loud from what I can remember.

PRM, AEM V2 or Injen because they are all external from the engine bay (CAi) if you go down this route be sure to get a Hydro-Shield aswel.

I had a PRM (difficult to source I believe) which was excellent. I replaced it last year with a K&N kit which sounds the same. They are readily available on eBay (make sure its a proper one !!).

I paid

I would never change the exhaust on the S, its far too much of a drone with all the aftermarket ones i've heard. Least the induction roar can be controlled a bit but also happens to one of the best noises i've heard coming from car! Equally as good as the VR6 Golf my mate had years ago with an induction kit fitted...

How does the hydro shield work then Lloyd..

if it works on the gore-tex technology surely that restricts airflow.. Would have thought the AEM valve half way up the pipe would be better
