Default Low Fuel Light On

When the fuel light comes on how many miles will your S2000 run until it runs dry?
If it runs dry will it start straight away when re-fueled with one gallon (5 liters)?
Can any damage be caused by running out of fuel?

Depends how big your balls are. I've done about 20 on fuel light, no idea how much was left.

As for damage I doubt it would cause any issues. Just make sure the town truck properly secures your S before it starts winching.....cough cough Fatbloke.

To find out reset the trip when the light comes on then drive till the car stops.
Have a jerry can of super ready, no harm no problemo. Unless you are in lane 3 of a motorway.
FWIW I get 35+ miles after the light comes on.

From my records, on average my light comes on at 229, I fill at 250 with 45 litres.

Since I've put 59 litres in my 55 litre Octavia tank before, I'm not too worried.

Thx Mike. My balls are fine, it's the middle leg that has shrunk

Low fuel light was on today, with no bars, did about 10miles before filling up 10litres, 10litres added 1 bar and didn't remove the low fuel light.

Ahh I had my car in the centre of London for the first year and haven't filled up since moving to the countryside yet. Hoping for a little more now!

You could clog up your fuel filter by letting the tank running dry as you will pull through all the sediment, sludge and minging fuel at the bottom of the tank which has separated from the good fuel.

I used to get 250 miles to a tank, but my engine was tuned and wasn't that efficient.
