Default Major Issue

Got some trouble with my immobiliser, my car wont start. Central locking works fine but no green key on the dash.

Its a 2001 car so i believe it will have the h&p system fitted. Can anyone pm me some info on how to bypass it if possible as i would like my s2 to be running!

Any help would be massively appreciated!

Cheers

No way to bypass it - the board might be fried on the system, happened to mine twice, and I swapped it for a Clifford.

A temporary fix may be to give it a whack with a hammer.

Check the H and P fuse block under the drivers side of the dash. Look around the ignition key barrel and you should find a block with 4/5 blade fuses in, of different amps.

Check/change em all and see how you get on!

Hope you've told your insurers you no longer have an immobiliser (if I read your post correctly). You won't be covered should the car get stolen.
