Not had a chance to push them yet, AJ, only 100 miles on them. The contact pattern was checked (gears blue'd) and backlash setup to OEM tolerance with a single shim. Will see how it goes! Going back to DMS in a few weeks for an exciting coilover install, so if it's not right by then it can get looked at

Pic of the Cusco brace...

I will see when i am there, Cheers

Brace looks great, Love that blue,

Does the front have one as standered? And if so what does this do over it? Just a bit beefier?

No standard one on the car, this just strengthens up the front part of the chassis (allegedly!) I was looking at a snapped one at Dixon's yesterday, so we will see how long it lasts

I think if you get a few braces in the right places they can do good things for lateral rigidity. I'm not too convinced about the front upper one on the suspension turrets, but i've got one going on anyway.

Should have some interesting pictures for next weekend

As Nigel (Biker 1) pointed out to me, if anything, its good for hanging things off and leaning on

It's also good for towing the car when you don't have a frint towing eye

Just fitted this... might be a temporary measure until the J's racing one comes, but I like the look of this one. Surprised at how heavy the metal box is though. Only issue I hasd is my oil cooler lines were int he way a bit, and I didn't have the original metal stands from the OEM aribox (which bolt to the engine bay) so I had to improvise a bit.

Very impressed with the qaulity of the kit / instructions / parts though, typical K&N

Looking good Mark! Where did you get your bonnet dampers? I was trying to get some SOS ones but they are not being very helpful

Cheers CG.

I think they are NRG, came with the car though! They have carbon sleeves and look quite good. Handy things. I think Tein do them amongst others

LOL, wonder if a snorkle would help - reminds me of my N/A days.

Where did you buy the K&N MB, did it take long to arrive?
