Thanks chaps

There's a few more things i'd like to do with it if I keep it.

Lightweight battery
Some more suspension hardware (ARBs etc)
Brake cooling
Lighter exhaust
Fit the 4.4 diff (I got confused, it's not the 4.7 I was going for...!)
Spoon mirrors

That along with sticking the carbon bonnet back on could net about 20 kg and would be near complete then It would come in at about the cost of a lower end Exige S, but still have more practicality and comfort, and less noise. Which was always the target. I just have to make sure I beat them!

This arrived today

Will replace the K&N as it's better suited to my car. Doesn't say V2 on the box but the product code says it's a V2 on the AEM site.

Might fit it this week sometime, but not if the bumper has to come off. Probably won't remap it, although there was a resonant tuning "bump" that had to be mapped around on the K&N...

Lightweight battery - Varley Red Top 25 Less than half the cost of the Spoon equivalend and the capacity has just been increased from 16 to 20Ah. Expect it to last 18 - 24 months.

carbon bonnet - just be careful as this can add 5db to the noise from the car and can cause problems at some tracks with strict limits.

That's the one i'm after. Already got the Spoon batter tray thing.

RE the bonnet, I had it on all year and only just taken it off for the winter. Was no probs as my car is reasonably quiet, even with the K&N.
