Mark, have you got matched front and rear MH compound?

I cannot find any front MH 215s in the UK.

No medium on the front and MH rears, Chris.

I think it will work well. The rears get hotter that the fronts so it should even out.

Hi Loon.

I said a while back this would be it, but i'm weighing up a Rotrex now That brings cooling, braking and clutch issues into play though so I'm not sure I will go for it. This neeeds to be a reliable car really. Also much over 20k and I might as well have bought a CSL.

Will decide when I come back from the Ring and Spa in the nex few weeks.

Aside from that I have ordered a passenger side BuddyClub rail and matching P1 seat just to finish off the interior.

Where I go with it also depends on what second car I get, as it might mean the S stays as the day car or becomes a more extreme thing I'd love to make it like the car in my avatar!

Came in at work at 9:00am like the good employee i am..

Logged in to our forums and thought it would be nice to pay a visit to the UK boards to see whats up

Little i knew...

5 hours later i've used the phone only 3 times (almost 2mins/call), sent only an email (very short in lenght) BUT i know lots of other things!

Such as MB's reg plate, what setup his is running, what good did every single mod was, how much he has spent on it, who has first dibs on the parts when they will be on the Classified Sections , how should i not fit those brake discs if i dont wont ALL THAT STOPING POWER , i also have opened quite a few different tabs about i-vtec on a F20C, SMAX intercooler, how to dress that bonnet cut for the J's intake, 2piece rotors for the OEM calipers etc etc etc

All i can say is that today it was a good day at work

Nice thread you got going on here and very nice info from many of you guys!
Would still like to see some lap comparisons from the Exige and the S2000 on the SPA, since you say you are pretty consistent on that track

CB, yep I knew I would regret not buying it

Kostas, glad you have enjoyed it!

It should have all beeen built much quicker but I have been abroad a lot.

Now I have got it pretty much finished, i'm really looking forward to testing it on some big tracks. I will be sure to report back I think the car will not be quite as quick in the corners and lose out a bit on acceleration, but it pulls better above 100 which can make a difference at Spa. We shall see!

One thing I know, it will be a much nicer drive across Europe in the S2000

'scuse the crap pics, but I decided to fit the passenger seat tonight. Did it in 1 hour with no probs at all. I have a technique now!

Another 9kg shaved off, must be about 55-60kg now from my dodgy spreadsheet

It's all ready for the Ring on Monday. Might do these EDFC things when i'm back.
