Spend the money on learning to drive faster. not that I'm saying you're slow, because you're not, but there's a fair it more in the car I think.

I agree with the above- the S has reached it's limit in terms of NA'd mods. Get a turbo and be done with it or sell the S and buy a GTR or GT2
I plan to keep the S, and get a tasty road car to go with it. When I get some time off!

Yup there is, I agrre. But while I was jesting about keeping up with GT3's, it's just not possible to keep up with a powerful car on a track like Spa no matter how good you are.

I just like the rush of power

Ah, so the "Road/track S2000" project has become a "Track S2000 project"

Save yourself a whole heap of hassle and buy an Atom + a road car.

The reason I sold the Exige was due to noise / practicality, so the S is working perfectly on that front! So an Atom / Caterham is out. I have a long drive but no room for a trailer too

That's good, is it going to be your track slag? Are you going to cage it? Hope so, then you would have done the ground work for me when I come to do it

The S is a very capable car on track with the right mods, as for running with GT3's maybe if you had the same power as one, roughly 400bhp, GT3 RS 450bhp.

And that means Rotrex or buy an Atom/KTM XBow, but the S would be more fun, you don't see many on track, imagine the guys face in the GT3 when an S2000 is still with him on the straight

That's exactly my view - those porker boys are very proud

Not sure on the cage, but my seatbelt issue is a PITA for passengers so I might have to do it for that reason alone!
