Metallic sounding rattle on acceleration only
Evening guys,
I've searched google and can't really find an answer on this. Lots of threads listing similar things but as normal nobody updates the threads when or if the problem is solved.
Under acceleration I'm getting a tinny metallic rattle coming from what appears to be under the car.
When driving and holding the revs the noise is not apparent, or when the engine is revved with the clutch down or when stationary. Nor do I get any noise when braking.
Any ideas on this please.
It doesn't seem to affect the performance at all.
Mods incase it's relevant
Lowered on skunk springs
K&n induction kit
Dms 65r exhaust and decat
Apr splitter with custom brackets, all secured with rubber washers and nylon lock nuts
Tarmac side diffusers
Cheers
Paul

Nearly took it off before I put the decat on. The drone was awful, never known anything like it.
I'm assuming that the heat shield is around the cat area. If I've done the decat myself I should be able to get to that?
Cheers for the quick response
