Might come back to an S2000
Around 5 years ago, i sold my 2005 Moonrock GT.... as I am sure everyone can imagine, it was the worst mistake, but something i had to do because of needing a more practical car. Turns out going from an S2000 to an FN2 Civic Type R was a terrible decision!
Fast forward to now, and i am overseas with the military in Germany. I have the chance to buy a 2007 GT, Red, with 59k from an American out here. The car is UK spec, but was brought to Europe after he was posted in the UK. After converting USD to GBP, it works out at around 11.5k.
Looking at how much values have gone up (I sold my 2005 with 93k for 9k in around 2019), and that this is a lower mileage car - this is a good deal right??
The car has been in Naples, Italy and has been undersealed. I haven't looked at it yet, but I can't see any rust in the videos (yet its been wrapped for some reason in the same colour), and he says there isn't any (Also the rubber strips are still on the arches......). Its also been undersealed. Service history is, sporadic looking at the stamps alone and not the receipts, for example between 2015 and 2018 it wasn't serviced, but only did 3k miles. I know these cars pretty well from having owned one, so i know what to look for. And know that there isn't too much to go wrong, other than perhaps the TCT or Rust issues. The roll hoops have seperated (was on my old one like that too), which i know implies a soft top change / accident repair but no accidents appear on the CarVertical check.
I would love to own one of these again, and at this price - surely this is a worthy investment seeing as values are only continuing to go up. I truly believe in years to come, we will see values similar to what can be seen on Supras, RX7.etc.

Sounds good until you got to the wrapped bit..
soon as you peel that back, it might take the lacquer and paint with it (usually does). Especially being sorta baked on, in a hot country.
Value is about right - used abroad have strong pricing. Prices of used includinhg s2000s have definitely dipped a little since the new car market revived slightly with semi conductor availability. But cost of living is at war with low to middling incomes, so it's a strange one.
As with anything, if it feels right, buy it. Not a fan of wrapping
