Mirror bolt size

why are you trying to make this more difficult.. I think you will have no chance with one of those t-bar things.. a simple spanner is needed?

interesting write up there. I figured I would shove the t-bar through the hole at the top where the power cable runs through here and as per the above sketch - makes more sense but..



If I can just pull out the speaker and slide my arm up there that looks nice and simple... so long as you dont drop the bloody bolt! Actually you could work both ways if you struggled with the spanner, hand up there to guide and t bar through the hole.

Will take a look on saturday. Wondering if a bathroom plunger might be over the top on the door.....

the mirror actually is attached with 3 studs.. you need to undo the nuts..

can be ideal to get some help as you will have to hold the mirror somehow as you take the last nut off..

I also could not get my right arm in the gap..

Im hoping it will just pop out, especially as I can lightly pull on it via the hole behind where the mirror normally covers - should be dead easy! and

The thread is 6mm * 1mm, the bolt head / nut may well be 10mm.

OK I bought a 10mm T-Bar as per the pics below.




Now this is a great solid lump - much impressed considering it only cost
