I wish! I like all the products for different reasons. The exhaust helps the car sound like it should, the CAI helps in Leeds traffic and the standard ICE on a '99 is just appalling.

Knowing me I will probably end up staying as I am. Planning to spend money I am great at, actually spending it I am not. Which is probably for the best.

Still I keep toying with a custom exhaust. Anyone have any thoughts/experiences in doing this? Should be able to get exactly what I want with lifetime warranty for under

I'd opt for the speed detection equipment - the kit soon pays for itself when you consider the insurance hike 6 points make, let alone that ban for doubling the speed limit - not that I do of course but dual carriageways set at 40 ?

I went for ICE as it was the first thing I did in the S2000 (..and my 2 previous cars).

The exhaust and air intake are nice but not essential.

I am currently in the process of procuring some proper protection.

I have no plans to change the wheels, unless Honda plan to give me a nice new shiny set FOC.

As you say, ICE on the older cars is absolute crap - you should go for the ICE, get a Lucid 4 speaker set-up, which makes a HUGE difference, really quite unbelievable, maybe

What will you get more daily use from? (UK roads, UK traffic jams, speed detectors ...)

ICE first - because you will use it everyday. My next choice would be the CAI.

I'd definitely go for speed detectors above anything else - I'd even consider them mandatory these days.

If I already had a GPS and detector device I'd go for the CAI and probably will soon.

Am happy with the standard ICE in the '02 as mine is really a weekend car.
Would like an HKS but for me personally taking the airbox cover off is much cheaper
I also like the stock wheels and will wait until my tyres need changing before I consider swapping them

As posted before, its a personal thing
