Default mps2000

as some of you may have saw in a few previous threads.. MPS2000 filed a fraudulent chargeback worth just under $4000 US with his credit card on a purchase he made with us a few months ago. long story short, I shipped items out, he received them and then filed a charge back saying that he didnt get half of his parts and I was unwilling to send him the rest. he starts to post pictures up of his car showing the items isntalled on his car that i sent him. I believe he has also started to resell some of the items i sold him. he replied stating that all of the parts i sent him fit bad and that he tried to contact me and I never replied.. which is a lie. he stated he would send me pics of the bad fitting items in order to file a claim with the mfg to get money back for the parts.. he has not done so. regardless, this compensation would not cover my money lost nor would they issue any credit back unless he sent the items back or destroyed them, which he isnt willing to do

ive asked him numerous times to do the right thing and rewind the charge back... he said he wouldnt.

i have not gotten a response from him in some time. is there anyone on here that has any knowledge of how to get this deal taken care of? any contact info to anyone that might be able to legally take care of this issue and recoup some of my loss?

i have his full name, address and phone number.

Rockstar Garage is a small company. I dont usually even make $4000 a month. I cannot afford to lose this kind of money. This has caused a huge hardship on my family. i have a 1 year old that wont be getting much for christmas this year because of this situation. i went above and beyond to help this guy out. I gave him a huge discount and even packaged items he bought from other sellers. this is how he repays me.

ive PMed aquilaeagle to help with the situation if he could. Im sure he is a busy guy, but i havent heard back from him..

someone help

I would get a solicitor involved. You have evidence of fraud, take him to court. It can be inexpensive.

rockstar.

As i mentioned to you in the previous thread where we discussed this.. you NEED to contact his Credit Card Company & Possibly the UK Police.

You now have images (thanks to the idiot posting pictures of his 'missing wheels') of his car that show the products that you had sold him where fitted to the car.

ALSO the fact that he claimed a CHARGE BACK because he 'never recived' these goods will go further against him. If you want to try and regain some of your lost money you need to take immediate action and get the ball rolling. if you leave it too long his Credit Card company may just tell you to shove off because its been over X amount of time.

collect all the information & Pictures you have and present them to his CC company and the police SOOON

Sorry to hear this. I'm sure AE will respond soon.

It's sad that people like this exist - theres little excuse for it.

What happens when you call the number?

There is enough evidence on here that he has made a fraudulent claim (chargeback). His CC company should have asked you for your shipment details, tracking info etc. You need to copy the relevant parts of the locked thread, send it to his CC company *and* contact his local police force.

If you can let us know roughly where he lives someone should be able to find the details of how to contact them.

The Police won't be remotely interested - this is a civil case.

How did you receive the card payment rockstar? Your course of redress is via the card acquirer you used - if it was PayPal you have to go through them, if it was your bank you have to go through them. Your contract is with them not with MPS2000. They will have procedures for dealing with disputes so contact them in the first instance. Chargebacks can be represented (i.e. you dispute the chargeback) by the merchant so once a chargeback has occurred that isn't the end of the story - but the rules vary by cardscheme and acquiring network so it's important you go back to your card acquirer ASAP. As mentioned before there are time limits to both chargebacks and representations.

Unfortunately for you the law (in the UK at least) is designed to protect the customer not the merchant. Good luck!

He lives in south west London and said he was ready to sort anyone out that goes there.

Rockstar, I hope this doesn't taint your opinions of us on this side of the pond. MPS is in a very small minority of people who think that because you are thousands of miles away you won't chase him down. I really hope you can sort this out quickly.

This is a blatant case of fraud which is no different to theft, there is plenty of evidence so they should at least issue you with a crime reference number.
