Seeing your story made me create an account just to post a reply! I’ve been starting to look at S2000s myself, but it’ll likely be a good few years before I save enough for one.

I wanted to say if you can, keep the car. My dad got a 1970s Fiat spider when I was only a few years old, a car that he still owns, and we both drive to this day. It’s a joy to go out together to car shows in it, or just go out for a weekend blast with the top down, albeit with fingers crossed we make it back home!

I hope you can enjoy your car for many years to come, and hopefully start going on some fun journeys with your kid too!

That is a lovely story with you and your dads Fiat spider to this present day. That must mean so much to your dad.
I hope I can replicate something like that too with my son. He has a very keen interest in car's, trains and vehicles which is a good start

I hope too you can get an s2000 one day, and also hope they don't become too much out of reach like the other jap icons like the skylines, evo's etc.
