For the number of cars that have issues in or near to the warranty period, it's probably not worth hacking those people off and creating a PR problem where there doesn't need to be one.

It all seems very much down to how good your Dealer is though.

p800bry. Yea as ive paid for the part although its part cost i get warranty. Full warranty replacement i was told is not carried over into new warraty.

A bit of calm well constructed phone calls go along way in situations like this. Its been a rough road and a lengthy one but i know im very lucky. All i can say is Honda UK have been outstanding in their dealing with the matter and yes it helps to have a good dealer.

good result, Zud!

I have always lived in hope that stuff like this happens and that as you say, some calm, well constructed phone calls would do the trick.

Nice work, that man!

When Honda were doing my new engine they told me that they'd recently done aanother s2000 engine on a 05 model that was out of warranty but Honda UK had replaced the engine as a good will gesture

Unfortunatley my handy work has been scratched a fair bit. Not complaining tho, give me excuse to do it again and get the colour more evenly finished
