Default My MODS

1 month now and a proud owner of a very low mileage MY03 berlina with 10K miles (was at a friend before who upgraded to a red itialian), I would like to ask you something about the mods the car has and what effect on the power and performance if there is:

Racing exhaust PODIO - japan custom specialist. (the sound is awesome)
http://www5d.biglobe.ne.jp/~zzz-taka/s2000...ke&exhaust.html

Throttle body spoon.
http://www.spoonsports.us/catalog/s2000/intake.htm

Tyres Toyo proxies are awesome for handling having driven a fair number of 2k's mostly on bridgestones. These i recommend.

(Also have JM racing grooved discs, headrest speakers and rear spoiler but these are cosmetic.)

Would appreciate your views on the exhaust and throtle body and anything i need to know.

Thanks

Well, normally aspirated mods don't really get you much power.

I have my doubts as to wether a throttle body does anything at all.

I haven't heard of that exhaust before, but it looks like a copy of the HKS which along with 90% of exhausts, won't give you any more power.

If you go on the US site they might tell you your mods are worth 10 bhp, but i'd bet on 0-1 bhp.

As for Toyo's - I like them but most on here are bridgestone snobs

I would agree too after driving a number of hondas. THough one thing i realised is that the power deivery seems much improved. Mostly throttle response. having said that it could be the sound of the exhaust doing my brain

So whats this podio it looks extremely proffesional, I cannot really find any info on the net. It does sound great though trust me

Not really!

It sounds good and is a lot lighter than standard - quite popular as it is well priced.
