Of course I drive the car hard, why else would I buy one that revs to 9000rpm?

My point is a few people seem to like changing down 3 gears (or 6 going by the clown in the CTR recently) at once without thinking about what that will do to the revs (i.ei put them up into 5-figures!). Hence the odd enginge going boom of late.

By "ragging the tits off them" I would also mean kicking their c*nt in whilst the oil is cold or any other situation when the engine isn't ready to take that kind of punishent.

Well I know mine was less than 30 mph in 1st so ?!?

First goes up to nearly 40 right ?!?

Oh must have been in the gear between neutral and first then, maybe 0.5 ?!?

And yes I would think that the garage ran an ECU trace afterwards !?!

Looking at Deadly's sig he obviously wasn't scared of modding his car. Maybe he just over tuned it? Let's hear the details before we panic.

Sorry to hear about the engine
