As for a touch of oppo lock, I'm getting reasonably comfortable with that thanks to an awesomely slippy (when wet) roundabout on my way home from work, so had a bit of fun coming out of a few junctions this weekend - I love how the back end swings out, and it's so much more controllable now than it was.
If the back snaps too quick, it doesn't recover!
Enjoy though

I've had mine for 5 years and am still learning to drive it. 'Dab of oppo' is still beyond me,
Just read back Marks comment - am slow tonight!
Way too modest, you are very smooth

Nobody's S is as good as mine, although I suspect most have less scratches.

, but driving it near to, but not exceeding, that point is where the real skill lies

Not condescending at all there.
I thought you saying you basically hadn't had the confidence to get the back out combined with me admitting my own shortfalls as a wheelman avoided that but clearly not.
Was just making a suggestion but perhaps it was written badly and taken all wrong; I'll leave such suggestions to better qualified people in future

Don't worry about it, I wasn't remotely offended
I can do a dab of oppo if I want to, but prefer to do it away from the public roads where it's not really appropriate given my driving talent.
Here's what happens when things go wrong

Had I done that on the road, there almost certainly have been damage to me, my car, or someone else or their car.

Just wanna chime in and agree that the S is clearly the best decision I've ever made. As the designer originally intended it, it indeed "stirs my soul" everytime I drive it.
I found a cool use for the S - I drive it in traffic jams, and I'm no longer on the border of road rage!! The longer the journey, the better, as long as I can put it through at least one or two gear changes each time I stop n start!!!
Can't get enough of the clutch/gearshift combo!
