Default Need your help!

Hi guys, well last night i set off from a set of traffic lights i put the car in second gear an the back end spun out i must of been doing around 28mph! i manage to control it. but to my luck their was a police car behind me so he stoped me! an is sending me to court for dangerous driving! I told him look its a rwd car plus it was so icey aswell you can spin out at anytime! he goes well why didnt my car spin out?? i said well your driving a 4 wheel drive volvo it wont happen to that! He said well anyway the roads have been gritted so your lieing! I've never meet someone so clueless! Now guys please please i need some input to confirm that s2000 can be a bit lethal in icey conditions! Thats why a lot get smashed up! Thanks

So you have had a verbal NIP then, what documents did you exchange?
I wouldn't worry unless it was on video and you were being a knob

Personally I would be surprised if it even gets to court, and I would definately contest it simply on the grounds you stated. It's not impossible it may end up as a 'without due care', but dangerous driving?

I only got a producer! He even said if didn't go guilty he would try his best to get me done! I wouldnt dare be a knob in this weather! Guys thanks for the input i feel less stressed now!

It that all the plod around you have to do, don't expect it to make court, far more important things to see to,... carol singers making to much noise, vicars with nativity scenes on show etc.

Did you ask for his number?

Did he have an oppo as a witness?

I suspect the guy's a loser who thinks he knows so much now they've given him a badge. Orifices like that tend to bring out the worst in me these days...

You get some really decent ones and some real idiots, I'm afraid.
