New Battery

Default New Battery

Just a quick question really..

Batetry in the car is the original one still (not bad for an 8 year old battery and 96K on the clock!) and its been showing its age recently when its been really cold (ie - left sitting there for a few days or extreme cold gives weak starts), and all this snow the other week killed it...

Car was under about 2 foot of snow, so popped out to honda, and to my surpise, got a new battry for

As far as your terminal is concerned you can just put the battery back on and then get some vaseline on it, a couple of days later. It's only there to stop the terminal corroding which is hardly likely to happen in the next week.

Can't help with the filter question as I don't have one of those on my S and never had one on my previous motors.
