Cool A new guilty pleasure

Slacking at work, I mean on my lunch break, how many Honda s2000's being broken for parts could be saved?! There is an amazing orange one on ebay - externally looks ok, whats the worst that could be wrong?!

Worth a punt?

First off it's been resprayed it's a 1999 car and we didn't get orange till 2004 {I think). Why was it resprayed ? could be the result of a crash repair if so is it a CAT C or D? if so with the age of the car it would be worth more parted out than sold as whole.

The eBay advert doesn't tell you very much about the car, not even the mileage, so if it's high mileage or the engine has popped it will be worth even less. The exhaust isn't stock so if that's not all that isn't OEM what else has been fiddled with?

Judging by the plugs on the boot lid it's had a BGW taken off, and the wheels aren't OEM, BGW and aftermarket exhaust, I'm starting to think boy racer.

Just for a laugh why not e mail them and ask what they want for the whole car.

So my guesses were spot on except for the CAT C/D bit, plus of course its a JDM. If Matty got £3,800 ish for it he's done OK.

And no one on here is going to buy that engine so that knocks a big hole in the breaking value.

I thought it looked familiar! Love the orange ones - always keeping an eye out for one or a Platinum white one!

The challenge with 'how bad can it be', is how many bushes are seized underneath.

That's question 1. Everything after that needs a number.
