Hi

I am a new member here, though had my S2000 just over one year. Its Silver/red, bought in Belgium in July 2000. I am based in Salisbury and have been using August Motors in Salisbury for my servicing. So far very pleased with them, extremely helpful service department.

I have just improved my stereo by changing the speakers, easy to do and a serious improvement in sound. Notes about what I have done are in the electronics forum.

Looking forward to exchanging info/views on the car

Regards

Always good to see new UK blood in the forum. Make sure you check out the Cotswold meet threads - we'll be trying for a get together in a few weeks and the more the merrier - we've got to beat 13 cars at Rutland.

Welcome to the board Mike,

Im thinking of speaker upgrades myself... the quality of sound is just lost with the stock front speakers.

Looks like there'll be a sound check at the next meeting.....

I've got a Blaupunkt head + Infinity Reference. Really tight base unfortunately it makes the door pannels rattle, fixed with Dynomat, but then the door lock & opening bars rattle. I've not figured out how to stop them rattling yet....

Welcome!

I guess I'm the only guy going for the offical UK Honda 3 way upgrade...

It will be interesting to compare at the meet... but could we agree on a refrerence CD to listen to in the different cars?

So where do Honda fit the rear speakers then?

I've got a set of 6x9's in the garage just looking for a home

I -think- they go behind the seats like some of the US guys have done.

Might be hard to find out - it was tricky enough getting the fronts upgraded offically... there seemed to be little info at the dealers.
