Default New Parts Availability

I am wondering, now that production of new S2000's has ceased, what the future holds for replacement parts. In the near future presumably there will be no problem, but does anyone know what Honda's liability is for continuing the supply of both major and lesser bits. Is there a (10 year?) standard for car manufacturers?

Sorry if this topic has been raised recently on the forums, but if so I have missed it!

10 years for most stuff, but they usually run out of bodyshells before this date
