Brakes are completely gone and needs a full service but other then that all good.

Another new guy here, and it seems I've just bought the exact same spec as you! Black, hardtop, all red interior (which i was worried I'd hate based on photos but in real life it's beautiful) - only difference is mine's an '04. Small world eh!

What car are you driving? VTEC @5600, VSA, torque.... Most S2000s have none of those things

Given your weather conditions one of the first mods that you might want to think about ought to be rear fender liners, as boring as these may sound. They may do most to preserve the longevity and value of your car by putting the intrusion of rust in the rear quarter panels at bay. I will look into that, do regular garages do this process or do i have to get it done from a specialist?

I plan to track the car early next year.

By the way who are the Go to guys for S2000 parts ( looked at sumo but dont have the bremtech, TDI north only have stoptech)
