Just got this back in responce to an email asking for availabillity of Rotrex SC

We are developing one now. It is on a car in the shop and we will be dyno testing today. The kit is intercooled and can be supplied as a low boost or high boost conversion( 2 different superchargers). power will be around 330 bhp low boost and 420 bhp high boost. Cost with full engine management package taking care of ign, fuel, cam phasing and lift and rev limit etc. Will be around

"Our pricing for the kits is as follows:
-The KraftWerks CARB-Legal (5PSI) supercharger kit will be $5495.
This kit includes all necessary hardware and instructions. This kit uses our SuperCard injection module for a fuel solution. This proprietary module has been tested on the vehicle in a range of situations, requiring no additional tuning.

-The KraftWerks High-Boost (10PSI) supercharger kit will be $6495.
The High-Boost kit will utilize Hondata engine management and RC injectors. KraftWerks has worked closely with Hondata to develop the H-O kit program, and will not require additional tuning.

For those of you that have already made the investment in a standalone ECU, we now have a solution.

-The KraftWerks You Tune (YT) High-Boost supercharger kit will be available for $5695.
RC Injectors and Hondata will NOT be included, allowing you to decide what type of injectors and standalone ECU you would like. This kit is designed exclusively for the tuner/racer that has a standalone ECU, properly sized injectors and access to a dyno."

The "plus fitting" bit would worry me.

I would like to see an exact fitting cost up front.

That looks bloody easy to fit compared with the centigfugal ones (which aren't that hard either)

The main thing is how compact the SC unit is. Also looks like and air to air cooler.

I have a big worry on how much lag there will be on that thing. The length of the pipes from the discharge of the SC is bloody huge, as it goes down to the aftercooler.

The other thing is pressure drop, the more pipe and bends the more drop.

I would definately be wanting to try one on another car before buying it.

That does look a tidy setup, the install looks very simple as well

Are there any dyno graphs about for it yet?

I wonder what the power delivery will be like
