I had same experience as Tokyo James - only saw one S2K in 2 weeks and 2000 miles of driving, I did not realise it was so unique in UK -

The one I saw was black in the outside lane on the M1 - looking very cool, my Pug 306 rental could not follow!

Same thoughts and concerns on bringing it over when time up in Japan.

Off the thread but I recently had a deflated rear tyre (not puncture) - happened about 300metres after leaving my garage - created some hairy handling - pulling wildly to the left on throttle. Went to get it changed but local tyre place did not have S02 in stock - 3-4 days to get one. So I ended up having to replace with Yokohama DNA GrandPrix. I complained to Bridgestone and they are inspecting the tyres. Anybody with similar issues with SO2s Are SO2 on stock in UK - or do you need to order, I could not believe in Japan that you could not get them easily - thanks.

Kobe .... where you bin/ thought you'd died

I don't know what the stock SO2 situation is over here. I would have thought Honda dealers would carry them..at a price of course!

thanks for the concern....just too busy for several months - have been away in Southern China, then lost the habit of logging in.

Nobody has the tyres here at all - not even the dealer, I actually wrote a stinking note to Bridgestone -They somehow found where I got my car from, and the dealer called me up and asked me to bring the car in to check the tyres. A Bridgestone rep turned up, but despite plenty of bowing on their part - they could not explain why they do not have them. You can get Michelin, Goodyear, Falcone, Yokohama etc in that size, but no Bridgestone - no S03 or Pole position either. I guess it is to do with the merchandising, Bridgestone do not give enough money to the dealer to keep them on stock. I did not fancy driving round with the skinny spare for a week. The car feels different with the new tyres, maybe it is the pressure.

I was wondering what had happened to you just a couple of days ago.....

I guess I am going to have to plan when I want to get new tyres, and pre-order them.

I was checking out some of the spares shops around here and couldn't find any Bridgestones at all in any of the shops....
