I don't know what rifles people are shooting, but they feel nothing like an S2000 gearbox hahaha!!!

Its a drivers car with a proper mechanical feeling gearbox, it should feel like a bolt action on a rifle. If it doesn't, something is wrong.

Mainly the L98A2 Cadet GP Rifle from my time as a cadet.
Also used:
No.4 Mk1 Lee-Enfield
Gewehr 43 (G43)
Sturmgewehr 44 (although not really a 'rifle' as such)
M1 Garand

Good to see others are into shooting as well on here then!
I stand by the box feeling very mechanical and the closest thing I could think to which is very clunk and solid feeling is a gun.
So bite me!

Ok, to the OP:
When you are changing up at low rpm, once you've moved out of 2nd, hold off changing up to 3rd for half a heart beat. Then slot in to gear and all should be well.
If you try and change gear normally at high rpm, it'll be fine.

Or semi automatic, depending on the position of the selection lever
I can strip one in less than 30 seconds - blindfolded - very satisfying! The carbine is a very useful piece of kit for close quarters - reduced chance of the barrel snagging when leaping out of a helo too...which is nice.
You may as well lob a frying pan at the enemy if using Browning 9mm however...some are bloody shocking. Not tried the Glock yet.
The .303 has to be one of the best bolt action rifles around though - especially when one considers the age of them. In WW1, ze Germans thought our infantry had loads of machine guns, thanks to the ability of our men to extract the casing and swiftly stick another round in the chamber.
Back OT, do what they've already said
