I too did around 120 miles today, mostly on M23 and M25 and only saw 3 others with the roof down, one SLK, one MG and one black S2000 (I think). All the others had their top up and my Halfords clock/temp gauge was reading 27 degrees (it must reads high)

I think we should have a competition at SM3 - the best "GET YER TOP DOWN" gesture

I flipped out this morning at an Elise driver while sitting in traffic, he was facing me. Ask why the roof was not down (off) just got a blank response!

Its so nice here I even put the tonneau on!

At the risk of getting totally shot here.......

I DISagree with you all. Sometimes you may just be going down the road and it is totally pointless taking the top down only to put it up again 5 mins later. You maybe heading for a motorway where the buffering and wind will be too much Also not everyone wants to look a twat dressed in ski outfits and seven jumpers just so they can have the top down.

Admittedly if the whether is nice (and I mean not to cold, not just not raining) then yes, people with convertible should have the top down.

Now then where should I stand so you can line up and take aim....

Sorry but I do topless even if it just to pop down the road, take the video back, pop to the shop, get petrol, go shopping, on the way to work, on the way home fro work, going for the chippy dinners, blah blah..... the life of a serial toplesser I'm afraid!! This country is crap and depressing enough without having to have a roof on when the weather is "reasonable"

Pub lunch was it simmo??!

It does have to be above 10 C before I will drive on motorways with the top down, no wind blocker between the seats means a frozen left ear otherwise!

But the last two days! I have seen loads of rag tops with roofs up and more worringly quite a few with hardtops on still

Oh well, their loss!
