Number plate flipper

Mostly speed camera vans over here with front/rear cameras, plus most of the fuzz I see on motorways are hiding up the on ramp! They like taking you from behind lol. Hinges sound too easy for the cops to give out about, although only been given out to once by a ban garda in a year otr with the plate in the window....

Whilst contemplating the effects of "some" reduction of air hitting the rad when fitting a plate in this position over recent weeks I reminded myself how God damn cold this part of the World has become and convinced myself it would make bugger all difference.
Now - if someone has some statistical data to prove otherwise I will refrain from moving the plate or alternatively connect a cold breather to expel air into the front of the vehicle.
Her name is Shirly and lives in Burnley if anyone is interested.

I forward facing mobile van would capture your speed, stop you, and then read your plate. They don't need your plate to capture your speed.
If you failed to stop, they will attempt to chase you, adding another crime to your record.

it was just a small silver household hinge available from B&Q, must be able to close fully and fold down to 90Deg like any std house door.
number plate fixed onto it with double sided tape and hinge held to bumper with self tapping screws.

just would like to also point out that i am in no way saying this is a legal modification but it has been on the car for over 5 years and no drama's
a police man did pull me over saying he thought he couldn't see my number plate when i was following him, by the time i had pulled in it had popped down and he appologised for wasting my time
