Despite some problems with getting Racechrono up and running, it seems to be better.

Harry's Lap Timer may be the way forward.
Have you checked the PID/s count under adapter status?
There is also a setting for file logging interval and I think the default setting is 1s (1Hz).

Will do.
Loggin interval is set to 10Hz (which is what the GPS readings are taken at, so it's set correctly).

Has anyone else tested theirs? I'm getting roughly 2 Hz for RPM data using my Chinese ELM 327 BT OBD reader and Harry's Lap Timer with 3 PIDs turned on. So I would assume about 6 PIDs/sec on my 2005 S2000. Is this being limited my the car or the ELM 327 OBD reader?

I've done a bit more reading and the later cars should work a bit better than that. Early cars are stuck with 1Hz it seems.
