OBD2 reader?
Hi all, I wonder if anyone can help - I have an ELM327 bluetooth OBD2 reader which works perfectly well in my Focus, however with the S2000 it doesn't connect to the ECU. When I plug it into the port the red light comes on so it has power, and my phone can 'find' it via Bluetooth however when I launch the reader app (I have tried Torque Lite and Piston) it just searches and won't connect to the ECU. Any ideas? Thanks, Andy

Try pulling it out and plugging it in again, not sure why but sometimes it can take 5-6 tries or more before it connects.
I got tired of this though and upgraded to a kpro ecu with built in bluetooth so no more worries

Thanks for your replies, I have just been out to the car to try your suggestions, no joy unfortunately. I tried pulling it out and plugging in many many times with engine on/off and ignition on/off. It tries to connect for a while and as soon as I unplug the reader it says connection failed so it knows it's there but just can't connect to the ECU. I noticed there is a little green light that flickers when it is connected to the focus, with the S2000 the green light flicks briefly when first plugged in but then does not continue to flicker (the power light stays on though)... I might try a different phone tomorrow to see if that makes a difference
