Change the batteries in your remote, when was the last time you changed them, if ever!

I had this once, I opened the boot before unlocking and opening the door, tried all the buttons rapidly no help, drove home with alarm going off, my mate at Honda says it's just a freak happening that they have no cure for. If it happens the advice was to do nothing but let the alarm cycle end, then carry on as normal, pressing buttons on the remote only makes it worse.

I had this the other day. I think I unlocked the boot, then unlocked the car at the same time as closing the boot. The car was unlocked, but the alarm went off. I had to lock, unlock, lock again (all without opening the doors) and then unlocked and it was ok. Just a slight confusion in a logice circuit somewhere I reckon!
