But I was riding along the M27 through that stretch. Bloody annoying.....I hate roadworks!!.
Nick...profanity? My bosses use the term on a regular basis.

Actually, the Sussex part of the A27 with all those roundabouts is quite a fun stretch of road.

Lukedon - your link takes me to the pepipoo site but not to the specific item that you're clearly referring to - what is it? Are you able to post a link that goes to the relevant message?

This happened to me and my old man.
We were driving my GF up to see a KA as she had just passed her test. A prick of a cop pulled us over for speeding, which we definatly were not doing so.
My old man asked him what device he was using, and then the cop back down and said, well you werent wearing your seatbelt, which again he was!
so he gave him a ticket.
We contested it, and took it to court. in the lead up to the court case, we had a letter saying that we were being charged with not wearing a seatbelt and trying to prevent the corse of jutice.
No mention of the speeding. Anyway, we asked why they were doing us for preventing corse of justice, and they said,m beacause you were talking in welsh.
Neither of us can speak bloody welsh!
Judge made the cop look stupid on the day, and charges were dropped

On another forum I post on, a bloke in an MR2 was pulled over.
The cop walked over to the car, put his hand on the bonnet and said - bloody hell, warm that isn't it - you been thrashing it?
Bloke said 'Engine is in the back officer'
Copper said 'Drive safe' got back in his car and drove off!
Its this 1/10 that give the good Cops a bad name.

I've just got a red light NIP - first points in 17 years of driving
I was running late in an area I didn't know in a hire car. Tomtom beeping at me for some reason - looking for my junction, I go through the red light at under 30 in a 50, immediately realise my mistake, slam the brakes on and stop before the actual junction. Thought I might have got away with it but it looks like 3 points and
