Why would you not go out on track in the rain? Is there a lot to crash into at Snett?

Wet trackdays are fun, might not break any speed records but it's great for car control

I just felt that the last trackday i went out on in the damp and cold that i didnt really learn much about the car or myself as a driver. I felt i learned alot more on a dry day. For me it will cost about £50 in fuel to get there and back and i will probably do £70 during the day.

I will go even if its wet just wont do many miles. I have been out at Snetterton in monsoon conditions in summer and the car was fine, nice and predictable but in the cold and damp it was a handful, a few very hairy moments. Its more down to my lack of driver ability, if i was driving a FWD then i would be alot better in the wet as its something im used to.

Quite alot of run off at Snetterton but a few corners that can bite you if your day dreaming. My main concern is not smashing the car up as Snetterton has written alot of S2000's over the past year and in the rain i think its probably an accident waiting to happen in the wet. Especially as my car is my only means of transport baring my work van, i cant afford to crash it.
