Default Optimax

Picked up my first 'mighty s' this weekend and haven't stopped smiling! Having been a member for some time now, this day was a seriously long time coming.

Anyway, don't have Shell garage nearby and, seen as this is my everyday car, I wondered if many other owners have a similar problem and what they use instead of optimax?

Any (non-supermarket) SUL will do you just as well.

Rik

They sell Optimax at the Shell garage at Aldsworth Ave, Goring (next to Fads)

And on the A259 at Littlehampton (Body Shop roundabout)

You'll have to go out now..........

My nearest Shell got bought and demolished by the local Ford dealer cos it was obsuring his forecourt! There's none within more than 20 miles of my house I don't think.

I just use BP Ultimate Unleaded instead. It's pretty good, and way better than 95 Octane.

EDIT - Use this to find your nearest station.

Alternatively, if you've got Autoroute express 2005 I can send you a file that you can import that shows all BP Ulitima & Shell Optimax petrol stations. If you don't have AE 2005, then I can send you 2 Excel files that list these sites. Drop me a PM if you want either of these.
