origin b2 and radar detector
i know there was a thread somewhere on origin b2 locations but as usual having trouble finding it when u need it.
have any of you mounted the b2 unit down low somewhere rahter than on the dash? if so where? can u post some pics please.
secondly mounting a radar/laser detector. have u mounted this low down sitting on the dash? i am aware that mostly likely u`ll get zapped from the front but most have rear detection capaabilities and was wondering how effcetive this would be if it was sitting on the dash and the soft top up?

yeh thats where i have it mounted in the focus. it was the bel 550 i was thinking about.
Lee i have seen urs.the cradle looks unsightly when u remove the device thats why i have mounted it just in front of the two cup holders in the focus.i was hoping someone had come up with lower mounting position. also how have u mounted the pda there?

http://www.handnav.co.uk/proclip_select2.php?id=70
It is only a passive mount though with no power etc etc
