Default Parking Sensor fuse?

Hello Lads,

I've had my S2000 for a fortnight now and am just sorting through it's various issues.

One that is very annoying/embarrassing is that when engaging reverse you are greeted with a loud "BBEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPP" from parking sensors that think you must be an inch from hitting something (when you are not). The "beep" stays on the entire time you are reversing and disengaging reverse is the only way to stop it - at which point it sounds like a withering/dying mouse.

Although hilarious for the first couple of times it is now pretty annoying.

I've had a search and am not sure where the fuse is for the sensors - any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm just going to pull it out.

Many thanks

Dave

Parking sensors aren't standard on the s2000 so will have been fitted afterwards, could well be by the dealer.

My dad has a set in his CRV which had the same problem as yours, continuous beep instead of the short beep and the dealer fixed it by rummaging around somewhere.

They are normally plumbed into the rear reversing light, If you look around that area you should see the box that operates it hidden there somewhere.

OH bugger.

Non standard electrical issues - Great!

It already had an additional alarm fitted which has since been torn out because it was mental and I've also got a flashing red LED that flashes whether the engine is on or off.
