Default PAS warning light

Frickin freezing this morning and whilst i was defrosting my PAS warning light came on. Got quite a long drive so did a quick run up and down but the warning light stayed on and there certainly was no assisted steering. Once car warmed up the light went out and my assisted steering came back.

Is this just a glitch in v cold weather as hasn't happened before and i remember the same thing happening on cold mornings in my 52 Type R Civic????

If the revs tay too high for too long, it triggers it.

Goes away once you drive the car and turn the wheel.

Must have been v v cold!
