Default petrol station stories

A few times now ive pulled up for petrol and seem to get looked at alot... maybe im that ugly.... some may say, but today made me giggle a little inside....

It was a lovely morning so after cleaning the car yesterday I dried the soft top, dried her off and gave her a quick buff, top down, bobble hat on as a little chilly, sunnies and off to halfords the long way around.... so pulled in for some kangeroo juice, and noticed I was between 2 Honda Civic type Rs.... both owners looked at the car in almost disgust! Anyway got out and filled her up, lady pulls in behind... I pay come back the kid about 8/9 years out the window shouts, "Nice race car man, better than those 2" pointing to the civics....! I codnt help but smile :-) seems people really like the s2000.

Any funny petrol pump stories? ?

Young lad attendant once told me 'your Honda is awesome' funny.

A bloke at nippers' nursery also quoted about 10 stats about my E92 M3... Nice. V8. 420 brake.. £495 road tax (or whatever it is), 0-100 in 4s (kidding)

Just made me giggle the Tyre R roared away obviously unimpressed with the childs evident good taste. :-(

Good M3 knowledge I wouldn't have a clue to be fair.

I know Saz drove off with the nozzle still in the tank. That's funny isn't it.

I saw a particularly lovely woman at the pumps a few years ago - had an arse like two plums in a handkerchief.

I filled up my Golf at a motorway services a few years ago and, because there was a long queue behind me, I pulled forward into a parking bay just beside the 'shop' thinking it'd help move things along.

As I got out and was walking back to the shop the cashier (an old girl 70+) was running/waddling out as fast as she could: she thought I was doing a runner.

Even when she'd clearly seen that i wasn't she was still all mardi with me. Quite rude in fact.

I kicked her in the fanny and threw the cash at her. The police came and then...

That last bit's not true.

I get a lot of attention when I pull up to fill up, think the colour gets people particularly interested!

I pulled up one particular occasion, I filled up, roof was down as was a nice day and I had just cleaned her so she was looking fine. I went to pay having noticed that a Porsche 928 or 944 Turbo was beside me (one of the two). He'd already paid by the time I was waiting at the counter and was heading back to his car. He then proceeded to walk round my car, looking in and generally having a good gander! He was looking for long enough that I wondered back to my car and he was asking me all kinds of questions about it. It's a nice feeling and kids in particular seem to really like it.
