Default Plastic window split and tow cover disc

Does anyone know if you can claim on car insurance for split rear window in soft top?
I put the top down before Christmas to fit the hard top, and the rear plastic window split!!

And I'm after a tow point cover disc for rear bumper as some bastard nicked mine!!
Thanks for your help

You should contact your insurer about the roof, no-one on here can give you a definitive answer I'm afraid, though I suspect the answer will be "no".

A new tow eye cover is <£15 from a Honda dealer, see the Traders Section for Hendy who will be able to sort you out. Chances are it fell out.

Hi Jonspeed when my window split last year I purchased some tinted window film for about a tenner from a certain auction site cut it to size it sealed it and hid the crack to a degree. you can still collapse the roof but film will bubble in places might be a short term fix for you.

Hi Jon you might want to check current cost for a soft top, IIRC there is someone in Wales doing then for a few hundred which gave you a glass replacement. Might be as much as your excess. Mine was about £700 but that was years ago and more suppliers around now (glass is much nicer)
