I was once of the opinion that Americans couldn't drive for toffee. I changed my mind after all the great posts I've read in the past on this forum - the contents of that thread you posted are just plain scary!! (and I don't just mean the grammar & sentence structure ) Kids today eh??

How can anybody change gear according to speed?? They must spend more time looking at the speedo than at the road! Nothing wrong with a good pair of ears.

Oh well. At least here you learn to drive in a 'stick-shift' (most of the time).

I change gear when that red light flashes - only seems to come on when the whole arc above the numbers is lit.

I dont seem to be getting very good petrol consmumption thow.
