Pre-ownership help needed
FWIW I reckon on getting between 200 and 240 miles to a tank, with one rare 258 tank, but that was really running on the fumes.
This gives me approx 20-24mpg, as i usually refuel with approx 1 Gallon in the tank, so 45ish L put in each time.
For comparison, i was getting about 32mpg on an X reg CLio 172 for an average tank, going up to near 40 on a motorway run and about 24 if i was hooning it.
BTW, this is a Super Unleaded Only kinda car, so bank on forking out for the good stuff...
That said, it's the new tax rules that'll sting the most!

I was surprised today when I filled up because on my last tank of V-Power I got 33.5 mpg.
Some people may consider this a good thing but others like Nick Graves may think this is a bad thing
. Honestly, I don't drive slowly, before filling up I had a bit of fun with a 330D reaching 106 before I lifted but I didn't get out of 6th.

I only owned mines for 2 weeks now ... 1400 miles later
lol .... I have paid attention to 3 tanks of petrol.. (all filled from reserve on v-power) 200miles then 220 miles and 240 miles all with a lot of vtec:P
(take your airbox lid off to experience it but to save your fuel economy keep it on as the glorious howl is to temptatious lol )
Using a Shell Mastercard from Citibank: 3% discount
http://www.citibank.co.uk/personal/c...iti&offer=A154
use this on all Shell fuel purchases and set it up to pay off the full balance each month so no interest is paid.
Hope that helps.

Hopefully getting my S on the road this weekend, so I will await with interest to see what fuel economy I get. I think I averaged about 28-29 mpg from my DC2 ITR, so hoping for something similar from my S...
