Preparations.....
No, dont reach for any medication.
Having completed my second trip to the nurburgring this year (had a fantastic time on both counts BTW) I have come to the conclusion that I need to sort the suspension out and stiffen things up before I return again in May 2011.
I have 2002 simply lowered on eibach springs. The chap I bought them off was spot on, he said they will be fine for the road but I will demand more for the track and thats exactly how it is.
I would like to reduce body roll and give the car a little more ground control, plus make the drive feel "tighter".
Check this out if you dont believe me:

(Ignore the rather serious expression on my face, I was in fact having a good time!)
Anyhow, my plan:
=Meister R Zeta R coilovers (I'm in the group buy on here)
http://www.meisterr.com/Site/Zeta-R.html
=Spoon copy X brace
(http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=280564551373)
Innovative engine mounts
http://www.innovativemounts.com/ProductDet...oductCode=90750
eXedium differential collars
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...&#entry18646764
I have been to TGM and had my geo adjustment bolts checked, and I have one seized, so I would get that fixed and then have a full alignment done after I have fitted all these things.
I am wondering however, do I really need the half shaft spacers/rack spacers etc?
I have done lots of reading about the matter on here, and I will add them to the shopping list if needs be, I would like to get a nice low stance, but not if the car is bouncing all over the road mid corner!
What do you think of my list? Anything to add/change/remove?
Thanks all.
Dan

There is plenty of info on here for sure.
50% of it is crap though.
Dont waste money on 'collars' and engine mounts unless you are doing autosolos or similar comps or have BIG horsepower.
For track like the ring they should be well down on your shopping list.
Spend the money of decent coilovers, Bilstein/KW etc.
And then on some Anti roll bars, which are pretty cheap and easy to fit.

I'd start with some tyres - A048/R888 whatever - these'll make more difference than anything else, apart from driver training of course (if you've not already had a good deal of it that is).
Great advice on the tyres and especially the driving tuition.
On the tyres front, with my previous FWD hondas semi slick tyres always went hand in hand with oil catch cans and baffled sumps.
Is this true of the S2000?
And Nomadic; I was planning on going lower than that. I cant remember exactly how much the eibach kit lowers by, but I think its around the 30mm mark.
So you would recommend the rack spacers/half shaft spacers?
Its also possible to swap the CV buckets from side to side right?
My understanding is that I only need the spacers if there is actually a groove worn in the buckets, correct?
As for the rack spacers, can someone show me some pictures of the fitting, or how it actually affects things? I am a little vague at the moment.
Thanks again.
