The only bit of the interior left is the centre console trim, the dash itself and the door cards. Everything else is gone The center console weighs next to nothing, the door cards are not that heavy and the doors look stupid without them.

I guess maybe the electic window motors/central locking/etc could be replace with something more manual

As the car wont drive itself another cheap option is yourself, how heavy are you as you will need to factor in that in your rolling weight.

if your partial to KFC you may want to try some class A drugs judging by the frail sc um bags on jeremy kyle.

note my last comment was intended as a joke

There is a 10kg weight saving by replacing the front brakes with aftermarket BBK and another 10kg by replacing the suspension with coilovers.

I've been talking to some guys over here about using the DC5 Brembos on the front. They claim that can do the conversions, so that's an option, and they will fit under the 16s as we have measured them. I think most other sets might require 17s

I have meisterR coilovers on presently

How about cutting some vents into the bonnet if your not going to go CF, will save weight and look the part, there are a few threads about this if you want to see what it would look like.

Only half fill the washer bottle, that'll save some weight.

Not much to save by swapping the bonnet but you can make quite a big saving with the boot as it is made of steel.
