Thumbs up A Question About Security!

I am of on holiday soon , and I will be leaving my beloved under lock and key at home. My neighbour is keeping an eye on things for me as well as relatives.

The garage will obviously be locked and also alarmed! But what I want to know is can I do anything else, is there a fuse I can take out or something. Any suggestions welcome.

I know this might seem a bit anal but there have been a couple of cars nicked from the estate in the past couple of months and I don't want mine to be added to the list.

Cheers

Andy

There's a kill switch under the dash, I think it's a fuel cut-off, have a look in the user manual.

You could also remove a couple of wheels, replace with axle-stands, and store them at someone elses house..

Cover up the starter button. That'll stop them

Seriously, a determined thief may be thinking of towing rather than driving it away, so fasten it down.

Taking the coils off (5 minute job) would really stop them starting the car - I'm pretty sure they're S2000 specific, so they'd have to plan ahead somewhat to nick it!

Fuses are generic, and far to easy to track down if they're that commited.
