Mikey. Speak to MB before you start plowing money in to the engine.
He has tried a whole raft of NA mods and the gains from them really where nothing to write home about considering the cost

Hi mikey. A few questions if I may. Do you know why the person you bought the car from sold it? I know it's irrelevant in the grand scheme of things but I am curious. You mentioned you were going for a K series engine and had sold the F20 that was in the car, what has prompted the u-turn?

Yes he sold it due to non car related reasons. He would have loved to have kept it.

Yes bit of a U turn. Two reasons, chatting with my engine guru about what we can do with an F, and secondly, some issues with a K swap and reliability for a car that will be used predominantly on track - need for a very heavy flywheel, mounting point on the K which were not originally designed to support the engine, and finally the quality of some of the bell housing adaptors available which can cause a host of clutch problems.

The original F20 in the car (which was a cracking engine) would have been sold anyway was way too nice to pull apart for our build.

Fair enough, thanks. If you end up needing anything to get made from scratch that you will require 2D/3D CAD models for get in touch, would be happy to help
