Default Re-attaching petrol cap + Window bit

Hi,

My Petrol cap has been detached from the plastic line/rope thing for quite sometime can anyone recommend how to re-attach it???

I have tried araldite but with no success, its quite a small fixing point.

Also on the driver side window there is a strip that runs along the bottom of the window (top of the door) on the outside that has started to come off any ideas how to re-attach?

Cheers

Re the cap - you have almost no chance.

Re the window strip. you need to use a suitable contact adhesive. The strip will need to be fully removed and both surfaces cleaned. Its such a PITA that you might be better off forking out for a new strip.

The window wiper trim is held on with five/six white plastic clips, there are a couple of different sizes on there.
You can buy them all from your dealer for a couple quid each.
