Default rear disk getting hot

friend picked up his s2000 on 02 reg from south wales today and one of the rear disks is heating up alot, the caliper isnt sticking which was my first thought, wheel moves freely by hand when the car is up in the air. the anti roll bar link on that side has snapped not sure if that would cause it?? any ideas anybody?

Don't see how the drop link will affect the disc, when I had a sticky caliper it turned ok when cold but once it was used a bit it gripped and heated up, or, could it be a knackered wheel bearing?

Mine did this, was a stuck slider, needs stripping down removing, cleaning and greasing. Free when cold but as the brakes heat up (in constant contact with disc) the pads expand slightly and start to bind

What did you use to grease the slides ? I need to refurb my calipers as a next job and did wonder about grease.

Did a bit of research into slider lube and came up with Mintex Ceratec as it doesn't dry out like copper grease and doesn't damage the rubber boots. It's nice and cheap too

Euro car parts sell a paged brake grease, seems pretty good

Red rubber grease, does sliders , piston seals and gaiters does not dry out or degrade rubber
