Default Recent Lakes trip Pics

Just returned from a drive up to the Lake district and Scotland to visit family for a few days, arrived back today ! Phew, 1200 miles and great fun
A couple of pics here are from an early morning (6am) drive through the Lakes and up Hardnot pass ? It may look great but believe me, a mountain goat would have been better than the S on some parts of it, but the road does take you to some of the most remote regions of the Lakes you can get to by car.
The car didnt miss a beat all the way and if you get to Scotland just past Dundee is the A93 , brilliant road, a race track through the hills (sorry no pics of that , was enjoying driving too much to stop)
Back to the boring flat roads of England

Some Lake pics to enjoy !

Nice pics. Thought you'd been a a bit quiet. Your new old/old new car looks good and not a tintop in sight.

Great photos.
The actual pass is not that much fun in the S ! it really is an old sheep track or something
is good for scenary but not really what I would call a fast a driving road for the S, good fun though !

Kirkstone Pass is absolutely perfect for the S! As long as it's free of traffic, which isn't often. I have an in-car vid of me driving the pass somewhere, only held up at the start near Windemere, until the slow-coaches moved out of the way for me.

Glad you enjoyed it, Nick. Can't comment on the pics though, as I can't view them on my mobile!
