Default Reconditioning wheels

Hello,

I’m looking to recondition the wheels of my 04 S2000 as they are in a sorry state. Has anyone here had their wheels recondition for the 04+ year car? The reason I ask is that they have polished rims and I’m not sure what the results will be like or if it is even possible.

The other question I have is I used to have a 05 S2000 which had speaker’s headrest which made a massive difference as you could hear the stereo. Can these be retro fitted? It’s not a job I would want to do but thought I would ask.

Cheers
Henry

You can get 04 wheel re-diamond cut, so they have the polished finish. I think most people go for normal powder coating as the results last longer.

As for roll hoop speakers, You can't retro fit them. There have been some installs in the actual headrest of the seat. I'm sure a quick search will find the thread.

I have speakers installed behind my seats.

Many thanks for your reply. Once the roads have stopped being salted, I'll get the wheels done.

Interesting regarding the speakers. I'll do a search on here now.

Cheers
